I hope this is the approval necessary for the Shoppes at Eagle Point to move forward. It is good news indeed.

Doesn't appear to be; appears to be a modification to the permit...probably at TDEC's request. I would guess that the permit is still tangled up as no dismissal notice has been stated one way or the other.

The appeal that was filed had to do with the water runoff issues and that committee meets in January. Paddock knew this committee only meets twice per year so when he filed this appeal in August it would cause a minimim 6 month delay. I'm assuming this is why it was modified this month due to their meeting. Hopefully this is what was needed to get the appeal dismissed.

Is accepting a modification to the permit not enough to dismiss the appeal?
