Thank you.

It appears Publix, Academy Sports + Outdoors, PetSmart, and Ross Dress for Less are or remain on board. A deadline for bid for construction of Shoppes at Eagle Point needs to be established.

It was nothing monumental, but I did see some signs of life at the property today. There's been some trails cut and it looks like soil/earth samples taken. Not much, but better than the nothing that has been.

There's been a dirt road cut near the power lines for a while now...if not for a long while.

See multiple trails?

I feel like I saw several cut in the grass. I don't live in Cookeville proper, so I don't make it by there often. It may have just been new to me.

I think I saw this morning what you're referring to; I don't think it's anything to do with pending "dirt moving," other than perhaps the many trips they've made for the environmental requirements.

Looks like the City Council approved an additional 13.75 acres to be used at wetland mitigation for Shoppes at Eagle Point. Not sure why this was needed, but good.

Apparently wetland issues not resolved and Herald Citizen falsely reported this. Paddock still in court with Browning.

I checked with my source at city hall, and they said that Paddock is not in court with Browning. My source said, "Shoppes at Eagle Point is a go." From what they told me, the only reason construction hasn't started yet is because of all the utilities. Once all that is taken care of, the city is ready to issue the necessary grading permits.
