Seeking info/opinions from local's on living in the Holiday Out Trails near Lake Tansie Crossville, Tn.
Looking at some property there and would like some first hand info instead of the whitewash from the realty companies.
Thanks in advance for any input/info...
Have a blessed day.

I bought a home nearby and part of that area looks nice, others not so much. It seems to be sort of block by block. The homes go from trailers to mobile home types. And the lots are TINY. Their beach area is good. I 'heard' that they may not have water to all the area in the Winter, so ask about that before buying. There is a neighborhood watch for Tansi. You can get information about that from the POA and ask about the specific area. Also the Tansi security guys seemed pretty good at answering my questions, so you can ask them about a specific block. They are located next to the fire station.

Tansi over all has some nice areas and neighborhoods and some that look like trashy- way too close - mobile homes that I was told are rentals by my neighbors. My home is about a 5 minute drive from Holiday Out.

Oh, btw, look at the county website or at a Zillow type site to see what the county values the property at. Some of the properties for sales in holiday out are way high, placing high value on a cleaning station, 1/2 of a fire circle, or an original buying price for a now old trailer, etc.
