Car Wash (Jackson, Cookeville: home, price, garage)

Are there any recommendations for a good car wash in Cookeville? Getting tired of these quick drive thrus that either don't clean or leave your car a wet mess. If I was able, yes and willing, I'd do it myself.

I use the one on Neal St. near Jefferson. I can't remember the name right now. It's a white brick structure with blue trim. You can pay as little or much as you want depending on what you want. I always do the cheapest which used to be $3.00, but just recently went up to $5.00. I did notice the wash process was slightly different this last time, and maybe a little more effective, which may account for the higher price. Even with the cheapest option you can access the free vacuum if you want to use it yourself. I always vacuum my car at home in the garage rather than use a vacuum that has been who knows where.

I really like the car wash at Xpress Lube on Jackson Street. They don't leave your car in a wet mess because they have guys who cloth dry the cars after they come out of the wash.
