It did get down to 53° in Cookeville this morning; what a pleasant day yesterday turned out to be....today isn't awful either.

Our low over here in Knoxville was 64. I've been away from the Fort Myers/Naples area for 11 years now and I've never had a day here where it felt as hot and humid as down there. I can thank the dewpoint for that.

To the OP, you may realize this, but you will need more than jeans and a sweatshirt in the winter. It's not as cold as up north and we have a tiny fraction of the snow they get up there. Still, you'll want a winter coat.

It has been rather pleasant the past few days here on the Plateau. The nights have been nice and cool.
Slept with the window opened last night.

I agree even the hottest day here is still a big improvement over SW Florida in the summer time.

Sparta is a wonderful little town. I highly recommend Sparta to those looking to escape Florida and move to a beautiful area of Tennessee.

We moved here to Crossville from Naples, Fl and love it here. Could not pay me to move back there.
