Well, it seems the Library did not work out as a meeting place. They just close too darn early.
So starting with Tuesday Sept. 6th the Cookeville Coin Club will meet at Shoney's 880 S. Jefferson at 6:30PM.
They will meet the first Tuesday of each month at Shoney's with meeting coming to order at 6:30 PM. Come early and eat and visit.
This is a new location and a new day of the week so spread the word if you are interested in coin collecting.

We won't be moving up there until next spring, but once we get there I will be stopping by one of the meetings. When my father-in-law passed away a few years ago, I found it interesting going through some coins he had collected to figure out what they were worth.

Starting with this months regular meeting (1st Tuesday of each month) on Aug. 7th the Cookeville Coin Club will be meeting at First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall located at 20 N. We have raffle items and an auction of member items (usually about 50 items). So whatever you collect come visit us and check it out. The yearly dues are only $5. A great deal.
