Just to be clear, are realtors free to respond to someone requesting a realtor contact in a DM-so long as they aren't out randomly DMing posters that didn't request a contact? If it's OK I'd also like realtor recommendations, just don't want to cause trouble for anyone.

I sent you a DM with a realtor recommendation. The way that I understand it, realtors cannot initiate contact, even by direct message. However someone can direct message you with a realtor recommendation and you can then contact the realtor.

I live in Boise right now and would really appreciate a DM for recommendations for a realtor. Our beautiful farmland is all being turned into homes from "California Refugee's" as they call themselves. I can't blame them, I was there 7 years ago myself. Home prices are unbelievable with people bidding 25-50K over the asking price and waving all inspections and appraisal. Cookeville was on my radar back 7 years ago when we moved here and I think It's time to make our final move to a place out in the country that's a little slower pace.

I don't blame you one bit. My church in Cookeville has seen several families move in from places like Idaho, Utah, and Arizona, for precisely the same reasons you mentioned. I sent you a Direct Message with a couple of realtor recommendations.

As a reminder to anyone else with recs, please remember that realtor recommendations are not allowed in the forum, but you should feel free to send them via Direct Message. Also, realtors are absolutely forbidden from soliciting business even through DM.

I would also appreciate a DM with some realtor recommendations. We are looking to make our way to the Cookeville area sometime soon as well!

Thanks!
