Very interested in waiting times for boat slips. TV has a 2 year waiting list and a huge drawback. Fishing and boating is very important to the hubby.

Yes, it's a lot easier to get a boat slip at FFG because FFG has only tiny "lakes" with draconian rules for boating. Their rules specify that their lakes are "no wake lakes" which means good luck with a motorboat. FFG doesn't even allow you to "extend limbs" outside the boat which I guess means you can't even reach your hand into the water. It's all in their rules:

Tellico Village, on the other hand, is on a huge lake of over 15,000 acres where you can fish, ski, jetski, rent houseboats, etc.

If you want to do more than fish from a rowboat, you're out of luck at FFG.

Thanks for the replies. TV was our originall retirement plan but won’t retire for 2 years and researching options. A 2 year wait for a rental slip is so much more unattractive to us.
