Leilanio, I'd love to know more about the co-ops and CSA's if you wouldn't mind sharing. My husband loves to raise quail, so I am interested to know what type of stuff loike this is in the area. (There isn't alot of it where we are now)

It appears daytime temps may be in the 60's while nighttime could be in the 30's. So watch for nighttime frost/ice. Could have cup of java before you head out. At least appears to be no big storms during your stay. Enjoy your visit!

That was going to be my question. Doing 'vacation things' is a different story than your average activities like grocery shopping, other shopping, going to medical facilities, the school(s), etc.

Riley., I am trying to make sure I don't miss anything I should- as a vacation or the mundane. This post was mostly to make sure I don't miss something awesome I didn't know about or mundane I should have thought of. This will be my family's first move like this so I'm not sure how to make sure to get a good feel of living in an area. We certainly enjoyed our trip, but I realize living somewhere can feel quite different- as I currently live in a tourist town and do not understand the allure lol.
