The Highlands Prehistoric Museum will be opening this week at 41 South Cedar Avenue, right behind Ralph's Donuts. Some exhibits summer visitors can expect to see will include dinosaur and other animal fossils and cast replicas that demonstrate change from the Ice Age to other time periods; a dinosaur fossil sandbox in which children can discover dinosaur bone replicas for themselves; and BOB, also known as "Bag of Bones," which tells an interesting story parents and children will have to wait to hear until they visit the museum.
