All can say is the swine flu is here in Cookeville. I think I might move into a cave for 6 months.

If there is no problem with the public knowing this then why did Cookeville hospital keep it quiet? I've been told the hospital didn't want this to be made public.

Keep what quiet and didn't wan the public to know what...that there's swine flu in Tennessee, in Cookeville, or that masks won't keep you from getting swine flu?

I just got over swine flu... Just get it and get over it. You know you'll have to eventually anyway. It sucked, but I've had much worse strains of the flu in the past.

All I know is the hospital was keeping a lid on the people with the swine flu for some reason. The problem with people like me with medical conditions it could become real bad if not life threating.

How does a hospital keep the lid on something like that anyway? I know despite HIPAA, around here if a case of ebola showed up, you'd hear about it...the hospital admission list might not be on the radio like it used to be, but you hear about issues at the hospital.

Reporters deal in facts. Stop dealing in opinions, call up the hospital, talk to some officials and write your own story.
