There is another area down the road from Hawks Bluff Called Ironhead I think.
I did not find the prices at Hawks Bluff to be too much. I bought there with my wife about 3 years ago, and my friends bought less then year ago and thought the prices were good. They do have electric going to the property underground, but no water or sewer.

oilwel found an excavator that works in Hawks Bluff, may be the same one. Give me an e-mail we can find one.

ironwood I have not priced lots in Hawks Bluff, not into that end of the game.
I know the area and we have done foundation work in the area.
There are many other developments around, most would be on Center Hill lake. From Rock Island to the dam. But what I said is there is a lot of raw ground that can be had in the area. That you can do with as you please. Most of the area around Spencer Mountian is simi- wilderness.

I am building right now in Hawks Bluff phase 1. They dug out my property with ease. That was a good thing. I am going to be up there next week to check out the property and spend some time in cooksville and sparta.
Looking for good food!

Default Hawks bluff

Thanks Rescue 1,

Have you done any work in Grundy County, (Monteagle Mountain), or on Louis Chappel Mountain near Dunlap? Im searching for a lot in these areas. I went to Louis Chappel tuesday but the fog and rain ruined my trip. Lots of clearing activity on the mountain with many lots going for sale soon.

The Monteagle area also looks nice but ive heard of a crime problem in that area.

Thanks for you advice,
Ironwood

Ironwood

We have not gone that far south from Cookeville yet. Could be talked into it if someone wanted a ICF foundation or the whole house. Just found out today where Wilder Mountian is. It is located between Livingston and Jamestown. A large number of large building lots there.

Smile Hawk's Bluff

Hello everyone interested in the Hawk's Bluff community-- I live and work here in Bledsoe County, and we own property right next to the Bledsoe County portion of the Hawk's Bluff development (no, we are not looking or trying to sell it, just trying to help anyone interested in moving to the area).

I actually live in Pikeville and am familiar with the area, the community, etc. and would love to help anyone trying to move to the area with any questions that they may have about the community. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them either through the forum or through email, as I don't check the forum too often. Look forward to hearing from folks, welcome to Bledsoe County!

Thumbs down not happy

I contacted hawks bluff and they were very rude. they just told me that it was not a place for kids, in a very rude matter. my parents were thinking about buying there, so i wanted to buy a lot next to theirs. after my phone call with them, we both walked away. Very Unhappy.

I don't understand that. Other than being way out in the country and maybe a long way from schools. Kids should not be a problem I would think.
