My nephew (17) has a court date for possession of marijuana. I don't know all the details, but I don't think it was much (not that its right).

I'm wondering if anyone knows what the fine or consequences are for this. I also believe its his first offense.

Sorry for the vague information. I'm just trying to prepare ourselves.

Probation, mandatory drug class, might be a small fine. You might be able to get the fines waived and get it expunged from the record after all the requirements are met. Get a lawyer.

He should move to California...would have gotten a ticket

On the other hand if you're stupid enough to get caught with a dime bag, you almost deserve to be run through the system.

I guess this is just one way Texas creates jobs.
