hey all,

this weekend i'll be visiting corpus, and i'll be there again next month for my job. i was curious what main clubs and bars there are to go out to on a saturday night? i'm sure it sorta sounds like a general questions, but normally, there's a good 4 or 5 bars in a city, depending on size. some places like austin of course have a bar strip and maybe corpus has that too. i've never known much about the nightlife scene there so any suggestions, i'd def appreciate.

thanks !

depends where the main areas are. either gonna stay off 37 at a la quinta about 4 miles north of downtown or at a marriott hotel (courtyard, fairfield inn) off that 358 freeway.

well if you're willing to drink and drive, or get a cab... or whatever, i would recommend going downtown.

cassidy's is great on a saturday. mulligans is good all the time. there's bourbon street/porkys and aria if you want more of a club atmosphere. all are downtown and within walking distance of each other.

so it looks like downtown is the place to go to. sounds good, getting a cab would be the option, so hopefully i can get a hotel close by. i appreciate the info!
