how warm is the water in corpus christi in july? is south padre island better? Just planning a beach vacation in July. Driving from Austin! Thanks

The water temperature will be the same. Not sure of the exact temperature, but it will be approaching bathwater. The beach at SPI is generally cleaner and the water is a bit bluer.
