Hi All,

My husband has a job offer in Corpus Christi. If he accepts the postion, I will be heading down there in a few weeks time for my first vist.

I can't get a feel for the area. I am looking for homes in around the 600,000 range with a preference for a gated community. I would love to be in a great school district or within a reasonable distance to a good Catholic School for my elementary age children.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

With that budget, you can almost pick anywhere to live in CC. As far as good Catholic schools, IWA seems to be at the top of the list. Also look into St. Patricks, both are located on Alameda.
