Default 75000 bucks

should go a long ways. Just remeber the humidity in CC is a killer. In the fall people wear turtle neck sweaters while you wear a sleeveless shirt for the first year lol!! When i first moved in that area i thought i was going to melt just walking a block sweat would pour off me.. good luck

Thanks, I am moving with my wife and 5 yr. old twin girls. Is there a single place you would say in the "best" place to live in the CC vicinity? Schools, safety and reasonable housing prices are top on the list.

You can be very comfortable with that salary in Corpus. The best places that I am aware of are North Padre Island, Flower Mound on the SW side of Corpus, and Portland on the North side of the Bay. zillow.com and trulia.com can both give you a pretty good idea of what housing and prices are like in those areas.
