Looking to find a hotel on the bay front on July 4th so we can watch the fireworks display that will happen on the USS Lexington.

Anyone know which specific hotels have balconies facing the USS Lexington?

TIA!!!!!

It looks like the Raddison would be hard to beat for the fire works show. It is about 7 stories tall and only about one ship length away from the Lexington. With lots of balconies facing the bay and Lexington side.

Radisson Hotel Corpus Christi Beach

This movie shows images of the Lexington in the background beyond the hotel swimming pool. Which should also have good views of the fireworks.

A few rooms at the Quality Inn & Suites on the Beach, probably have decent views. But it is only two stories tall and most rooms views towards the Lexington are blocked by the Radisson.

The Sea Shell Inn Motel has some decent views, but its only 2 stories tall and farther away, and the balcony views are from the walkway that leads to the rooms, not a private balcony.

There is a strip of public beach area all along this bay frontage which probably has good views, but it may be crawling with people.

Thanks!!! The Radisson was the best choice but just too pricey for us. We decided on the Omni. Any opinion on it? Reviews seem mostly good and they have 2 pretty tall towers so hopefully we luck out and get a decent view. Have a 4 month old, so we need to be able to put her to bed and then hoping to relax ourselves on the balcony watching the fireworks.

Did you request a waterview? If not, make sure you mention that that is your preference.

If you don't have a room facing the fireworks, you can still go upstairs to the Republic of Texas or downstairs to their French Restaurant and watch them. Or you can just walk across the street, although the seawall will probably already be full by that point. You may have to sit awhile.

yeah our stay was less than stellar. I was told by the front desk on the phone when I called the day prior to stay that I "should be fine" and "you will be high enough up"...I was facing the marina and on the 7th floor...our loyalty profile states we like higher floors and we requested 3 times with reservations and the property for a facing the lexington...we ended up walking across the busy street with the kids and sat in the grass dodging people in front of us to be able to see....
