I 2nd the YBP. It's a decent organization that has mixers and tries to promote the interests of young professionals. Give it a shot.

Don't be surprised if your options are few and far between however as Corpus tends to feign any sort of environment for profesisonal types. This is a town driven by the blue collar rough neck, and 'what can CCAD do for me today' crowd.
