Hello I'm an AA (African-American) and considering a move to CC. Ive been to Corpus plenty of times and I really like it there, but I never really had time to explore (except driving up and down South Padre). My question is where are the nice neighborhoods and does the city have a good AA culture and how are the AA's in the city.

Also ive been to Texas A & M and considering the school also. How it there?

The AA community in Corpus Christi is very small--something like 5% overall. You could double check that on the C-D statistics page. There are several nice neighborhoods but it depends on how much you want to spend and where you want to be. Regarding the size of the AA community, although it's small, CC pretty much has a live-and-let-live attitude. Your race would most likely not be a factor one way or the other as far as how you would be accepted, etc.

Are you asking how TAMUCC compares to TAMU at College Station? TAMUCC is considered a pretty good regional university, but it's much smaller than TAMU CS and does not offer the same number of degrees and options. Whether it would be a good fit for you would depend on what you're looking for.
