Here are 2 links to the Harbor Bridge Lighting Ceremony yesterday.

Part 1: http://youtu.be/fpSO6TT8xmk
Part 2: http://youtu.be/QyC9ZeuZ5qo

I remember when the bridge used to be lit up at night with the white lights. Apparently they didn't stand up to good to the weather and the maintenance was too costly. These new LED lights look great. Driving down Ocean drive at night from Ennis Joslin to Downtown will be even more beautiful now!

Too bad I had to work that night. I saw it a few weeks ago when they had half of the bridge lit up, on my way home from work. Looked really quite dazzling, especially against the backdrop of the Lex!

The lights are incredible! Don't know if they are still doing it? We drove over the bridge just to see what it looked like, very cool and surreal to be inside.

Cool, I did not know that. I assumed they would come down after New Years.

I've noticed they still had not come down so I just assumed it was like everybody who ends up leaving their Christmas lights for months after.

The lighting company has a 10 year contract with the city. Only 10 years because the Harbor Bridge supposedly is going to be replaced after then.

Yes, I enjoy seeing the lights on my way home from work at night. My kids love it, with the backdrop of the Lex nearby. Its cool how the colors slowly evolve. Its something the Port has been needing, along with the upgrades that are occuring there. Its a good time to be living in the Corpus area!
