Many times during the non summer months here in Maryland it will rain for a day or two and then the following two to five days it will be overcast all day. Does that happen in Corpus? I find it depressing not seeing the sun for long periods.

Overcast? I haven't seen it much.

Although, it has rained the last 2 days, and that's the first time that has happened since I moved here. It's almost raining enough that it isn't dry the instant it stops raining.

Lots of rain falling today. As of 4am, nearly 2 inches have fallen on Corpus Christi in just the last few hours. Looks like a wet Superbowl Sunday for us!

Update: as of 7am, the CC Intn'l Airport has now received 2.58" of rain! Hopefully this will help alleviate some of the drought conditions being seen over S. Texas!

I could see across the street this morning for about an hour.
Then the fog came back in.
Pretty dense over the last few days.

Life-support bump.

It's been a nice weekend, rain 3 out of 4 days.

Yes the last two days have been great! Glad to see the "cold" fronts moving in weekly now.

Congrats, gabetx, on your getting on with the CCPD. I know several officers on that force as well as the Country Sheriff's office. They seem a good and dedicated group striving for the overall betterment on CC.

Here's wishing you many years of UNEVENTFUL service.

Some pretty vicious storms yesterday across the area! In my hometown Portland, had a storm that also dumped pea-sized hail! Saw on the news where trees were downed on the east side of Corpus!

Big cold front coming! Looks like it will hit Sunday night, accompanied with some rain and thunderstorms. Only 50s for daytime temps Monday and Tuesday! Possibly seeing upper 30s both those nights too!
