Hello Corpus Christi!!

I have been here about 8 months, and would like to get to know some people, meet friends, seek advice on my little business... and generally get to know this place and start my career. Please check out my site, sign my guest book, and give me some positive feed back, please. Have a great day!

What does checking out your site have to do with being new to CC?

Hi I was wondering how you like CC. Where did you move from?
I live in San Antonio and we vacation in Port Aransas every summer.
I was considering moving to CC around the 78418 zip code. Do you like/love/regret your move? Most of the posts seem to paint it in a bad light saying it's trashy, dirty, gang/drug/crime infested, backward, corrupt...what are your thoughts/experiences.
Thanks

I hope you do not have children. The 78418 zip code has a huge concentration of sex offenders living there.

I live in the 78414 zip code and would highly recommend the area. It's a calm and peaceful neighborhood. Very nice.

Isn't 78418 Flour Bluff and the Island? If you're paying attention to where you live, sex offenders should not be a bigger problem there than anywhere else in town.

Nahh,,, I think the 78418 zip is kind of out in the boonies south of Yorktown and southwest of the ccad runways. Not too much in human habitation out there,,, lots of people keep horses out there. Once you cross OSO Creek on Yorktown going towards Flour Bluff you are pretty much in the middle of a flood plane and with very few habitations around and a kind of run down neighborhood. If I were poor and single I could live there with enough cases of scotch and a Blue Ray with a killer set of earphones, but it might be a tough place to raise a normal well adjusted family.

Be careful of what you wish for.

The map from your link shows 78418 to be all of the bluff and the island.
