The city leaders are hard at work trying to ruin Christmas for residents already. It seems that our representatives are trying to be a grinch for Christmas. Its not like the "silly council" has anything else on their plate.

The now annual, Candy Cane Lane Parade is at risk of becoming a memory.

The city "leaders" can do whatever they please when it comes to what the residents voted for with OUR approved bond money and reallocate approved funds to an unnecessary, over priced bridge to nowhere. In return, they scale down the Chaparral St. project which could have been, and hopefully still will be, a major catalyst towards the revitalization of downtown. Now when the residents try building a tradition on their own and improve the city just that much more, the "silly council" has to micro-manage and ruin the event for everyone.

These guys are getting out of control! Maybe they know they only have a couple of months left on their terms...

Aww, Christmas in CC, one of my best memories of being a kid was going to see the house on Doddridge (sp) every Christmas eve.
