Well, another Thanksgiving has come and gone. Too bad I had to work on it (no, I do not work in any retail). Hit some of the Black Friday sales here in Portland this morning. Was surprised on how few people were at the Walmart, Bealls, K-Mart, and Radio Shack. How was it in Corpus?

Anyhow, I hope you all are having a good start to the Holiday Season. Be Merry!

Ian

It would be better if it actually felt like the holidays, and not late spring.

Other than the crappy weather, all is/was good, especially the food. I got double time for working Thanksgiving and am getting lots of overtime the next couple of weeks.

I love the holidays!

Ditto on Holiday Pay. Today was a bit cooler, but really nice. Got the Holiday decorations out today, and watched some college ball while decorating the Christmas tree with the wife and kiddos.

When I was younger and didn't have a real job I did Black Friday a few times. Now at days it's not worth it to me, I'm not as much into the consumerist culture as I used to be.

Almost everyone is getting some form of alcohol for Christmas from my family, it's atleast one present that won't be made in China. Everyone else is getting something that will likely be ordered online, more likely than not gun related.

I spent nearly 6 hours yesterday putting up Christmas lights. I am glad to say that I finished! Fiancee did the tree and decorated the interior last week. So our household is in full swing for the holidays.

That cold front wasn't really a cold front, and I dont see anything good in our 7 day forecast.
