Any recommendations for good restaurants in Corpus Christi - Seafood, Italian or Mexican? Also, any good breakfast places? Thanks!

Breakfast: Price's Chef, Town and Country or Andy's Country Kitchen, depending on what part of town you're in.

Italian: Luciano's or Bellino's
Seafood: Either of the Water Street restaurants or the Executive Surf Club for fish and chips or a shrimp sandwich.
Mexican: Just about any place. There's a taqueria on every corner. We usually go to one of the Acapulco restaurants, but the Taqueria Jalisco's are very poplular as well.

Agree with this. Have been there twice. On a nice day this is a good place to sit outside & have a nice & darn good casual seafood meal. (I'm trying to remember.....do they take CC or are they just cash?)

Agree with Marlow on Tex/Mex....we stopped at two random places recommended by Yelp. Both dives, both were good to great. (when the town is 50%+ Latino, you can't serve crappy mexican food ).

Costa Sur on the island next to Surfside Sandwich Shoppe. It's fantastic.

I just got back from Corpus Christi and had a nice time at Port Aransas. Actually got in the water which I would never do in Galveston. Thanks for the suggestions. We went to Waterstreet Seafood and had a nice meal there.

If you haven't been, stop what you're doing and go to Irie's Island Food in Port A.

Johnny D's by the Seas is pretty good. A little bit more upscale than most island fare.

Johnny D's Restaurant - The Island's Premier Venue for Polished Casual Dining.
