Corpus Christi police are very interesting (Van: apartment complex, crime, houses)

Kinda funny how they've been keeping a lid on the major rash of burglaries on the south side and bay areas. I don't know anyone who doesn't at least know someone that has been hit. Our apartment complex had dozens of vehicle burglaries in one night this week and we have yet to see an officer out here. They took all of the reports over the phone. These break ins were not stupid people leaving valuables on the seat of the car in plain view. Some people had things like jumper cables taken from their trunks! You can't pawn or sell that stuff for any kind of real money! Yes, they took the expensive and personal stuff too. Seriously? Have also found out that it is going on all over this area, cars and houses.

So fair warning, lock your house and vehicles. Don't leave your jumper cables in the trunk either! Or move to a gated community.

Officer is investigating a vehicle that has hit a house and other structures in the yard and his cruiser is then hit by a DWI driver. When is this city going to get a handle on DWI?!!

And it's not showing up on Crime Reports although we know there were dozens of police reports filled out.
