Bad Turn Worse

I just found this film on AT&T Uverse on Demand. It has high ratings from reviewers and audience. Bad Turn Worse - Rotten Tomatoes

Three friends and recent high school graduates get caught up in a plot to rob the Midway Gin & Co-Op, in Taft, Texas.

I thought enjoyed the movie, it seemed authentic and plausable, plus it had me on the edge of my seat a few times.

Some of it is clearly filmed around Corpus Christi, in the beginning three of the stars go into Corpus Christi to party for a weekend. Most of it appears to be filmed around cotton farms in the area. Probably Taft, TX given the credits. Do they have wind farms in that area? I have not driven through there in ages. They show footage with windmills in numerous scenes. After visiting the Midway Gin & Co-Op in Google Street View, I'm pretty sure that is where the robbery and final scene takes place.

Movie credits mentioned:

City of Taft, TX
Police Dept. of Taft, TX
Midway Gin & Co-Op Board of Directors
Corpus Chcristi Caller Times
Corpus Chcristi Ice Rays
Elks Lodge #2790
San Patricio County Sheriffs Department
Sheriff Leroy Moody
Taft High School
Taft Tribune
Goodwill of Portland, TX
Gregory- Portland High School
Hollon Safe - Corpus Christy, TX
Halavinka Equipment Company
Taqueria Plaza Gadalajara - Portland, TX
Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi

Lots of wind farms down there now....

Use Bing or Google Earth and check out the area between Taft and Gregory, we always see a bunch when we head to Port A that way.
