I know I've been a student for a long time now... but no sides with a dinner plate and then charge $8 for a baked potato and $6 for rice????? (Katz) Seriously, this town thrives on the tourist! My hometown is quite the international vacation destination (Lake Tahoe) and there are restaurants in the same category but I've never seen a baked potato cost $8 anywhere

I really like Water Street and Landry looked good. Landry gives you a baked potato on the plate

Just kidding guys, I know every town has their upscale. I guess I've just been living in the student cave for so long that I've begun to think that Olive Garden is a big deal. Sheesh, I thought Snoopys was a bit pricey given the plastic chairs and lack of table service. Good food, but you are definitely paying for the view. I'll email the list of menus to my parents and let them decide.

Yeah, I've only been to Katz's once for that very reason. We're much more Executive Surf Club types.

Congratulations again on your graduation and I hope you and your parents have fun.

Is Johnny's by the Sea still open on North Padre? I've enjoyed the food and ambiance there, but haven't been back down to Corpus in a year.

Will be there Mememorial weekend, though!

It's worth it, in that Snoopy's is the only place in the CB where you can watch the sun set over the water.
