Hello everyone,

Wife may get a job at the Naval Air Station. Our main concern is the schools situation. Anyone knows if it's all virtual, hybrid, all in person? We have an 8 and 9 year old.

Thanks for any information.

Right now they appear to be targeting a phased opening to in person starting in mid September. Basically they are going to start with a portion of the people who want in person going back. Think special ed is the main focus in the first wave. Then they'll slowly increase numbers starting with the volunteers first. Don't know if they are going to require in person this year or not. Think they'll probably end up in a middle ground. Too many families with too many good reasons to either need or avoid in person classes to go entirely one way or another.

Corpus isn't that bad, but be ready for a culture shock!

Please report back when you get settled in and let us know how you like it. If somebody from DC can learn to love it I'm sure I could too.
