I have a pit bull, he's 13 been with me always. He's old and has always been gentle! Grand kids play with him even have him in the bed with them. Never any growls. Not all are bad infact there one of the best family pets! Like a human it's the way you raise them....think about that.

Back to the original question, needing housing with dogs. There was a post a few weeks ago on Craigslist under housing wnated where someone was trying to build a list of pit-friendly housing. I think some of the animal rescue orgainizations in the area might also have some resources.
