Crosstown Commons... (tenants, construction, move to)

Has anyone heard any updates about the Crosstown Commons project in Corpus? I haven't heard anything about it in about 2 or 3 months or so. Last I heard they said they were still very interested in the area and are for sure going to build here, but will wait until the economy is a little more stable. Anybody heard anything since then?

Here's the latest news as of last week sent in an email from one of the developers.

"we are still working very diligently to bring a center to this intersection. The current economic state of the nation has slowed the expansion of many retailers, but Crosstown Commons still remains of interest to a large number of retail tenants. We are currently engaged with several “anchor” tenants about locating new facilities within the project, which will be the catalyst to start the center. At this point in time we can not discuss any timing, as we are still in the process of sorting out these tenant’s needs."

I think it's still going to happen, they just had to change up their entire strategy once Dillards decided not to move to their development. They have seven years to complete the project with the incentives from the city. I'm sure we'll see some construction in the next year or two because if they don't someone else will build in that area. It's too good of a location to pass up.
