A great friend of my family's was killed early wednesday morning during a police chase.

Here is the story:

I am so glad to see the respect the family is getting from the community. Very sad times though.

R.I.P Lt. Stuart Jay Alexander. My family and I miss you greatly. Thank you for being such a good friend over the last 15 years or so. You died a hero! I will never forget you...

My father was a police officer for 25 years (11 of those years as Chief of Police). Its always hard to read or hear about stories like this, and I am very thankful that my father didn't have something like this happen to him. My condolences to his family, and to you, Gabe.
