There was a shooting July 31st if that is when you went. A 19 year old was shot to death and his friend was shot in the shoulder. This occurred in the Burlington Coat Factory parking lot. Is this the gunfire you heard?

Was it? I wonder how I missed it. No one was hurt, I presume?

*Edit* I'm not referring to the Burlington Coat Factory incident, FTR.

Nooo, thankfully not that time. This happened a few weekends after that (mid August), but as soon as I heard that gun shot that story ran through my head and we bolted to the car.

I wonder how this never made the news. everyone seems to know about the shooting at the westside theater and avoids it, even though the admission price is less than the southside one. Nobody at either of the theaters knows how to behave properly when watching a movie. Crying babies, talking and texting on cell phones. The moviegoing experience is not what it used to be.

They really need to demolish that mall. It is just a gangster's hang out now. Build something nice in its place like a Bass Pro Shop, Outdoor World, Cabella's, and Papadeaux's! All in one shopping center! Lol. Competition would be tough!

Ah good old Sunrise mall...we used to go to the mall when I was at TAMUK and think it was the dumbest idea to have a mall next to a mall. But I am amazed it is still there.
