We're planning on building a modest-sized house on a small lot just south of downtown. Our big three requirements are getting the foundation right for the expansive soils down here, making sure the house is wind proof for the next big 'cane that comes through, and building green. We like to live with the windows open most of the year.

Does anyone have architects or builders to recommend?
