In the early '70's, I remember shopping at the old Woolco store....and eating at a place called Piccadilly Cafeteria which was located within walking distance in the same strip mall....my question is WHERE WAS THIS LOCATION????

It's where the Sutherland's is now, on Staples where Carmel Parkway ends. The Piccadilly was in Parkdale Plaza, across a little access street. Parkdale Plaza was torn down several years ago and there's a WalMart there and some other stores.

Default the woolco

Thanks, yes there was a small access street. I remember crossing that. Do you know what year Piccadilly Cafeteria closed? Also, up until the mid 80's, there was a Nolan's Steak House on the frontage road of the expressway? Is it still there?

I think that Piccadilly Cafeteria closed at least 40 years ago. I only remember going there as a very young child. I don't remember a Nolan's on the frontage road. There was a Nolan's on Weber at Gollihar that is now a taqueria, but they didn't change the interior decor at all. It's still dark and has a railroad theme.
