Does anybody know what is going on with this place? I find myself on a roller coaster ride awaiting the final decision. I am afraid that it will end up like the old courthouse. Let me see if I have this right. Please correct me if I am wrong and honestly I hope I am wrong. The city council votes on the coliseum. The city council relies on the Downtown Management District to advise potential ideas. The Downtown Management District is made up of Business owners from downtown. If the above is true, why would anything be approved or supported that adds competition to any of the businesses downtown?

CC dweller,

I suspect your worst fears are correct. The Coliseum is a monstrosity that isn't going to be fixed any time soon. Too many special interests, too many pockets to be picked. Lesson to be learned, never trust a politician to do anything that doesn't put money in his hand.

CC city politics seems to be as corrupt as Chicago. We should be ashamed to keep electing these crooks.
