Anybody have an opinion on this? When I first heard of this opportunity I thought that it would be great for this deprived city. Recently however, I watched a power point presentation from a local physician which changed my view. The health ramifications alone are horrible. The air quality will suffer as well. What do you guys think?

I may be wrong, but isn't one of the issues that there is better scrubbing technology that they could use, but they aren't because of the cost? Was that addressed at the presentation you went to?

At this point I'm opposed to it. I know that we all consume energy and we all play a role in pollution, but I feel like they chose this area because they thought we wouldn't fight the degradation of the air quality.
