Heading to Corpus Christi this weekend and hoping to spend a lot of time at the beach. What are the best beaches? I have never been so I know nothing about the area.

Do not go to the beach in Corpus, drive over to the beach in Port Aransas (+-30 mins) it is much nicer! Go to Port A via South Padre Island Drive, DO NOT TAKE THE FERRY TO PORT A THIS WEEKEND, it will be a mess

I hope you like crowds 'cause I promise the beaches will be jammed this weekend. We love the beach here but always avoid anything to do with Padre Island on Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.

We're going to the National Seashore in the morning. Hope to be home by 11 or so to miss the crowds. But it is perfect beach weather.
