I was interested in a cruise back during the days when I had little kids to support and couldn't afford it, but today's cruises leave me cold. With all the "entertainment" aboard, it seems to me as if it would be like living in a giant variety TV show and I'm just not interested in that.
Most of the things people do on cruises now could be done on dry land and a lot cheaper. Back in "the day," cruises sold the lure of the sea. Now, the ocean is of no real importance, it's just something to get bored looking at between ersatz rock climbing, dancing, video games, drinking and water slides.
No thanks.
