I am not a fan of Royal Caribbean, but I like the fact that they have lots of unusual jewelry theme cruises. Probably because they are a less expensive line. Memory Cruisin' - Relax, Play, Create
I am surprised you ranked Norwegian as having the worst food. We sailed with two other couples on the Epic in March and all of us really enjoyed the cruise and the food. Almost all of my meals were in the free restaurants. Of these only one was poor (a badly cooked steak) and one was outstanding (a fish dish). We did pay the extra charge to try the Chinese place one night and thought the food there was good as well, especially the phenomenal deserts. One of the other couples paid the extra for the steak restaurant and liked it as we
Just got off a 12 day NCL cruise yesterday. We had a great time and enjoyed almost all the food. We ate in the main dining rooms, the specialty ones, the Blue Lagoon, and even one night we did the buffet; we only had a couple of things that we wished were better and some of this was a matter of not liking what we ordered. No, it isn't 5 star (well a few of the specialty dining rooms would be up there) but the food certainly was enjoyable, always the right temp and some interesting spices and herbs were used. The portions were on the small side, but hell: the last we need it giant amounts of food, as many times a say as we want.

Good to hear. We leave for a 21 day on NCL in a week or two.

Good luck, I bet you are going to enjoy your cruise. I know you have other lines you like, but I think you will enjoy the casual attitude and feeling of NC> The food isn't 5 star unless you try the specialty dining rooms but it certainly is edible and some is better than just ok. Have a great time.
