I do not spend valuable cruise time cleaning the toilet.
It is there for the cleaning staff to use. It is much more sanitary and convenient for each cabin to have it’s own brush, rather than the cabin attendant carry a brush that’s used in multiple cabins.
So if you leave evidence of your poop, you're going to just leave it there? What about your cabin mates? They have to look at your poppy remains until the next cleaning?
I just see the brush as being there for the convenience of cabin attendant when cleaning your room. It makes good sense to me. An individual, cheap brush in each bath room or have the attendant drag a dripping brush from room to room?
At no time have I ever thought of cleaning the toilet myself with the brush. I might if I left that big a mess, but, nope, never have.
