I have colleagues in Jordan now and they said a drive that usually took 35-45 minutes took 5 hours the other day. They were fortunate to actually have tread on the tires on their vehicle so driving conditions for them were not as bad. I've been to Jordan and I would definitely compare their driving styles with any aggressive urban driving styles you see in America.
