He died a hero, RIP young man.

https://news.yahoo.com/m-going-save-...134216995.html

A 20-year-old man who died trying to rescue a woman in the River Thames told his friend “I have to save her” moments before jumping in.

Quote:
Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole, known as Jimi, was on his way home from work at a central London restaurant late on Saturday when he was alerted to a woman falling from London Bridge.

His friend Bernard Kosia, who was with him at the time, said they were approached by two men who showed them a video of a woman “jumping over the bridge”.

That is an incredibly sad story. What a brave and selfless young man Jimi was. He was a true hero.

The Thames is a large fast flowing tidal river, there are many eddy's and strong currents, it's not a river I'd want to jump into! The guy was a bloody hero, it's a very sad story.

Sad, RIP!

I would rather be a living, non-heroic fraidycat.

So would I. Being a dead hero that will be forgotten in a few weeks/months/years is not worth it.
