I got a kick out of that!

William Shatner has a probably well-deserved reputation as a blowhard ham, but I always liked him. Maybe that's because I remember him appearing in many of the anthology-type shows I watched as a kid--Twilight Zone, Thriller, Alfred Hitchcock, Outer Limits... Apparently, Shatner was always a fan of the genre, too.

There was a time when he resisted anything to do with Star Trek, but now I've heard he attends "Trekker" conventions enthusiastically. He's acquired a sense of humor, and that's a good thing.
