The latest Commonwealth report on health care ranks the US last among 11 countries — again.
The latest look at the U.S. health care system compared to other rich countries shows — yet again — that the United States comes in dead last.
But then you have to look at other survey's such is out comes also. then of course waiting periods and what Americans expect in healthcare facilities. Then of course Americans habits in general. very hard to say its just a system really. Also remember that US does 705 of all medical and drug research. and lots of other benefit .Now that America is changing to more managed care under ACA that is likely to change as profit move changes with managed care.
^^^How come whenever anyone from Canada mentions their health care system, they always say they think it's a good system? I think I have only read perhaps 2 people who found it not to their liking. Interesting. And as far as health care not being a right...do you not think it should be? You don't think having affordable reasonable access to health care is not a right? That's bizarre because I think that is basically the ONE right that every human being on the planet should have.
You have a right to go see a doctor of your choosing.
But not on my dime.
It's your health, pay for it or buy your own insurance.
you forgot or die!
Again that is exactly why our healthcare system is one of the worst in the world, it is all about profit not making people well.
