No she shouldn't be free. All it said was that it was an argument. If she was fearing for her life, seriously fearing, than that's self defense. I don't know if that's what was going on here. Sounds like it got heated & she simply shot him more than once. All it takes is a slight squeeze of that trigger & your entire life changes.

So they let her go awaiting what the DA will say? Maybe there's something missing in the story, but if you shoot your spouse you would think you would be jailed.
