This is not a race issue at all. She paid for a specific service that offered her a specific product. The company did not deliver the correct end result. Henceforth grounds for a legal suit. Its pretty simple really. You guys would be angry if you paid for a steak, and received a piece of chicken. Do not let your low level of intellect get the best of you, if you truly think this is about race.

There was a contract. The company breached that contract by delivering a different "product" than what was specified. One that has life-long implications for their customer. They deserve to be sued for failing to meet the terms of the contract.

Why try to make a simple breach of contract suit into some race-based witch hunt?

This is a serious issue, and cannot just be waved off as, get over it, you're racist.
You are speaking of a child, being raised in a household, and a family that expected something else.
This can co horribly wrong in the lives of all involved.

But the plaintiff is making it about race. She is not saying you gave me the wrong order I order the steak, she is saying the chicken is making her sick.
Yes I would be upset if I got the wrong order but I wouldn't blame it on the chicken.

Right, and the last thing the kid needs is "parents" who sue someone else because they have a half-black child.

In any event,i do not consider them racist either.
There is nothing wrong with wanting kids that look like themselves.

This article brought out something i suspected for the longest...gays are not discriminated against as badly as AA are.

Gays can be racist.
The gay community can be the most hypocritical place on earth.

The kid is the ultimate victim in all of this. I feel bad for her.

Plenty of ethnicity communities frown on mixed marriages, not just whites. So stop accusing her as being racist just because she is white.
Agree with this on every point.

I still feel bad for the kid though because she's the innocent in all of this. Someday she's going to grow up and find out what her mom did, even if her mom did it out of love and concern for the girl.

I just can't imagine how much that's going to hurt the child.

I agree that it's a breach of contract issue. My only question is: how is the couple "damaged" here?
The answer to that question skirts the racism issue.
