How hard is it to ban flights from African regions? Our government does not care if people die, so that's why this happened.

The Ebola patient he had contact was a pregnant neighbor and he was told her bleeding was pregnancy related. He may not have realized that she had Ebola.

If there were any direct flights from Africa to the US you might almost have a point...

Duncan is not an American citizen. He's a Liberian citizen. American citizens don't have to get visas to travel to the US.

Why he would do this? Maybe because we only live once. If I was sick with a disease that kills more often than not and I have two options: a) Stay in a third world country where clinics are turning patients down or b) Fly to the United States and get the best treatment one can possibly get. I think I would at least be tempted to go with (2).

Is it selfish? Yeah. Would 99% of people in this forum do the exact same thing? Absolutely.

You're 100% correct.

If the government didn't want this horror coming to our shores, they would have denied entry from any African country.

This government will be complicit for every single American death from Ebola. They had the power and ability to stop this, but they let it in.

Incorrect. He knew she had Ebola, they were turned away as they were told there was no hope for her.

He knew exactly what was going on.
