I would violate quarantine because we were TOLD that ebola is not very transmissible and only passes to another person through DIRECT personal contact with bodily fluids. So why would they quarantine me if that's true?
Well, I won't miss voting so if a quarantine interferes with that, I'll be breaking that also. I don't believe there has been a quarantine in my lifetime, 60 years so right now, my goal is to stay well enough and alive to get to the polls! That is the way to help prevent these possibilities in the future. Seriously, anyone that has concerns should educate themselves and not by reading media accounts, google and go to some medical sites. It won't hurt to build up your supply of needs/wants to keep you out of the malls/stores/etc. because with winter, viruses do circulate. There was no quarantine with HIV and I don't remember it spreading like wild fire. Keep yourself healthy and vote, it is always nice to avoid the crowds so you can check when they allow early voting in your jurisdiction.
Read alot
do projects around the house
make sure the freezer and fridge was stocked
do yoga for exercise (no yard)
stay in touch with my doctor
Most important thing, if I were quarantined, I would obey it.
All that plus I'd make a sizable dent in my unwatched downloaded movies and tv shows, do 45 minutes cardio daily indoors, try out some new recipes, maybe go on an Amazon shopping spree.

Because, ebola causes bleeding from different orifices after it has progressed so far. Good to know you're willing to infect everyone because you're stubborn, you and AnywhereElse.
It would be easy for me, assuming that I was not in fact ill with anything life threatening. Last winter I stayed home for 10 or 11 days when a big snowstorm dropped 27" of snow. I'm retired and often don't leave my property for a week at a time. If the weather were decent I'd take the dogs for some walks out on our 28 acres.
I would most likely do a re-read of the following:
The Coming Plague: Newly Emerging Diseases in a World Out of Balance by Laurie Garrett 1994
Betrayal of Trust: The Collapse of Global Public Health also by Laurie Garrett 2000
Spillover: Animal infections and the Next Human Pandemic by David Quammen 2012
This Ebola outbreak and the way it has been dealt with by the international community, the WHO and the CDC comes as no surprise to me.
For a break from reading I'd watch many of the DVDs I own, bake lots of chocolate chip cookies and eat them all myself.
